I have no clue of the weight... I did this setup without taking care of weight! I rode it two or three weeks ago, and the rear-end job is still up-to-date. Maybe not as stiff and precise as today's bikes, but still that pleasant to go down with. Too bad Progressive Suspension gave up, their 5th Element rocks it

That's a heavy bike too, but still legendary.

Yes they used to do so : front wheel with either 9mm QR axle or 20mm body, and rear wheel with either 10mm QR axle or 12mm through axle. Everything was part of this set.

You will have quite some work to find the correct settings for the shock. But that should be interesting. Is the spring stiff enough for your weight?
